2017. aasta algas loomingule pühendunult ja nii valmisid jaanuarikuus teiste kunstitööde kõrvalt ka kaks segatehnikas A3 mõõdus joonistust ühest müstilisemast seisundist naise elus – väikese südame kandmisest oma südame all. Esialgne tõuge raseduse kujutamiseks oli luua pilt Dharamsaali (Kundalini jooga ja humanoloogia keskus) teadliku raseduse ja sünnituse jooga kursusele; seejärel aga ei saanudki enam pidama. Suureks innustuseks on olnud ka Yogi Bhajani mõte kursuse lehelt: “Laps õpib sinu kõhus. Kõik jõud, julgus, vaimsus ja inspiratsioon mis sa tahad temale anda, tee seda enne sünnitust. Kui laps on sinu kõhust väljunud, mäng on läbi. Pärast seda, ema on juht, põetaja, hooldaja. Ema roll algab kui laps on tema kõhus.”

Raseduse ajal ei kasva ainult pisike kõhubeebi, vaid kasvab ka naise hing ja vaimsus, mis kindlasti lisaks lapse tulekule eraldi tähistamist ja õnnistamist väärib. See kasvamise äärmiselt väestatud kulg koondab oma jõu sisemisteks muutusteks ning nii on selles eluetapis midagi sügavalt privaatset ja looritatut. Mulle meenub Clarissa Pinkola Estési mõte raamatust “Naised, kes jooksevad huntidega”, et naise tsüklilises elus on päevi, mil väljas tasub käia vaid looritatud näoga – (kuutsükli talve päevadel), mil naise vägi ja pilk on pööratud sissepoole, sisemise teadmise ja tarkuse allika poole. Müstiline vägi, mis neil päevadel avaldub, on välismaailmale märgatav ka läbi loori. Teise hinge ilmumine üsasse kahekordistab seda tundlikkust. Ema tundlikkuse osaks saab ka lapse tundlikkus ja nii on lapsekandmise aeg mitmekordselt avardunud sisemise jõu ja kindluse avaldumise aeg; naiseliku sügise ja talve aeg.

2017 begun by devoting myself only on creation-work and thus in January I created into the bargain to other artworks two A3 sized drawings in mixed technique about one of the mystical state of a woman’s life – carrying a little heart under one’s own heart. The first impulse to picture pregnancy was to create a drawing for the Conscious Pregnancy and Birth yoga course at Dharamsaal (School of Kundalini Yoga and Humanology); afterwards I couldn’t come to rest. I was inspired by the thought of Yogi Bhajan that a child is already learning in your womb and all the power, courage, spirituality and inspiration you want to give her, give it before the birth.

Not only a little baby is growing during pregnancy, but also the soul and the spirit of a woman are growing, which in addition to the celebration of the child’s coming deserves its special celebration and blessing. This exceedingly mighty process of growing centralizes all its power to the inner changes and in this way there is something deeply private and veiled in this life stage. It recalls Clarissa Pinkola Estés’ thought from the book Women Who Run With the Wolves that there are days in the woman’s cyclic life, when it is better to go out only with veiled face – (during the Winter time of the feminine moon-cycle), during times, when the woman’s vital energy and eye is turned inwards, towards the inner spring of knowledge and wisdom. Mystical force, that manifests during these days is noticeable to the outer world even through the veil. The arrival of another soul into the womb multiplies the sensitivity. The baby’s sensitivity will form a part of mother’s sensitivity and thus the child-carrying time is the time of a manifestation of the extensively broadened inner strength and firmness; the time of feminine Autumn and Winter.
